Goodbye Letter to my Students
I am writing this letter to inform you that I will be leaving the school shortly as you know my reasons. It took me awhile to figure out exactly what to write and express, and believe me, it wasn’t easy. First, I’d like to tell you that it was my absolute pleasure being your teacher for this year. I wish you all the very best and every success in your future. I am proud of each one of you, I see great things and potentials in you and I’m sure you’ll all shine.
I want to thank you all for everything because I learned plenty from you as much as you learned from me. I’d like to thank you for letting in laughter and happiness in class every day, thank you for filling my desk each day. Thank you for cheering me up whenever I’m down, whether that was with a joke or crazy dance moves. Also, I want to apologize for the times I was frustrated or lost my patience. But mostly, I am sorry that we ran out of time and I am sorry that I will not see you or spend time with you in years to come.
I appreciate your cooperation and commitment to learning during my teaching sessions and good behavior. You gave me hard times but I realized that they were part of the memories we made together. (Oh, you were not just students but friends too). I hope that I had a good influence on you and that you enjoyed my classes. I hope you realized that teaching you was my passion and you made a better teacher for sure. You brought the best in me as a teacher and I am grateful to you for it.
I will miss each and every one of you. I will miss your smiley faces that welcomed me in every class we had together and your laughter that filled the room. I wish you all the joy and success in the years to come. May you attain all your goals and realize all your dreams. It was a pleasure being your teacher. Goodbye and wish you all a bright future.
